Contemporary dance is all about investigation and discovery!
Contemporary dance allows endless possibilities in both movement and expression, giving us an opportunity to explore our physical and emotional connection to movement. The class structure also provides valuable lessons and practice in dance technique which will help you learn more about your body while gaining strength and movement range.

Beginners Contemporary - 8 week course
In this course you will be introduced to; floor work, posture and alignment, extension and release, use of space, movement dynamics, group dynamics and working with creative tasks. Over the 8 weeks you will also learn a choreographed routine giving you time to embody the movement and make it your own.
